Since 2009, INFYNITY BIOMARKERS has worked on a vast range of projects. Check out a few of our key ones:
Chagas
Chagas disease is a potentially life-threatening disease caused by the parasite Trypanosoma cruzi. Since 2015, INFYNITY BIOMARKERS has partnered with the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) to develop a test able to detect a response to treatment more quickly than conventional techniques – helping to accelerate development and facilitate registration of new treatments.
In 2025, the Chagas biomarker development programme was named DNDI "Project of the Year".
HTLV
Human T-Cell Lymphotropic Viruses (HTLV)-associated syndromes are considered as neglected diseases for which there are no vaccines or therapies available, making diagnosis crucial to enable proper counselling of infected persons and avoid secondary transmission.
INFYNITY BIOMARKERS has developed the Multi-HTLV Kit, a novel high-resolution Multiplex ELISA assay (RUO) for the confirmation and discrimination of HTLV type I and type II infections, by antibodies detection in human serum or plasma.
Schistosomiasis (under consideration)
With an estimated 200 millions people infected, the WHO has set as a goal the elimination of schistosomiasis as a public health problem in all endemic countries. Reaching this goal will require access to reliable, sensitive, and scalable diagnostic tools.
