Past Projects

MAGESTICS (2024-2026)

INFYNITY BIOMARKERS, MAGIA Diagnostics and Grenoble Alpes Hospital (CHUGA) entered in a collaborative project supported by BPI France and Rhône Alpes Region, under the regional i-DEMO program.

The project aimed to expand MAGIA's offering of viral STI screening tests (HIV, Hepatitis B & C) to include bacterial STI simultaneous detection (Syphilis, Chlamydia trachomatis, and Neisseria gonorrhea) — all on a single platform: MforScreen analyzer.

SARS-CoV-2 (2020-2024)

Early in the pandemic, standard serology tests gave only a yes/no answer and produced false positives through cross-reactivity with common coronaviruses. INFYNITY BIOMARKERS developed Multi-SARS-CoV-2, a multiplex ELISA that measures antibodies against six viral antigens in a single well. It gives a full immune signature and quantifies antibody levels over time.

QUOTIENT (2021-2022)

Under the collaboration agreement, INFYNITY BIOMARKERS assisted Alive Dx (formerly Quotient) in the research and design of infectious disease assays to enrich and expand the MosaiQ Serology Disease Screening (SDS) menu and reduce time and cost of development and commercialization.

The collaboration specifically focused on the integration of HTLV and Chagas disease into the SDS.

SAFE BLOOD (2020-2023)

INFYNITY BIOMARKERS, WAMA Diagnostics and the University Hospital of Montpellier (CHU) developed a new in vitro diagnostic (IVD) test to screen donated blood for bloodborne infectious pathogens, saving blood banks time and costs required for analysis of mandatory pathogens.

The project, supported by the Eurostars-2 programme, developed a multiplex immunoassay that simultaneously screens for six bloodborne infectious diseases per blood sample. In this project, a mix of diagnostic protein markers was developed and validated to lockdown an IVD test ready for commercial scale-up and CE-IVD certification.
